Every November and December, Dream City Church makes an extra effort to bless people in our church and in the community. During this Season of Compassion, we have many opportunities for you to give and to get involved. Below is a brief description of Dream City Church’s Season of Compassion events.
Mom’s Pantry
Serve Mom’s Pantry during the Thanksgiving season at our annual turkey giveaway by volunteering at the turkey truck at our Phoenix location. Contact pam@momspantryphoenix.org for details.
Adopt-A-Block
Meets Saturdays at 8:30am at the Phoenix campus youth cafe. We will go out to different city blocks, give people in need necessities (groceries and clothing), spend time with them, and tell them about Jesus.
Celebration of Christmas
This Broadway-style musical theater performance features a full live orchestra and state-of-the-art technology with incredible special effects. Celebration of Christmas requires hundreds of volunteers and we need you! We need volunteers for: Set Construction and Painting, Prop Construction, Tech Crews (Lighting, Video, Sound), Stage Crew, Costumes, Hair and Makeup, Lobby Decorations, Ushers & Greeters, Cafe, Security/Parking.
