Good Friday
Deep in the conscience of every human being is the sense that wrongdoing cannot & should not go unpunished. Somewhere in every person’s conscience is the sense that there must be consequences for irresponsible & immoral actions. We all CRINGE when a criminal is released on a technicality. Crimes should not go unpunished! Someone should have to pay the consequences for evil acts. The Bible teaches that our atonement consciousness is merely a reflection of God’s atonement consciousness, because we are made in the image of God and because we live in a universe created by God, God’s atonement consciousness permeates his creation.
