God’s commands to spread His life-changing grace as far and wide as possible are clear. Yet there’s an aspect of this mission that often goes overlooked, even by well-meaning Christians – the responsibility of imparting faith to our own children. While parents yearn to see their children walk in the path of the Lord, there can be a reluctance to share the gospel with them, stemming from the fear of pushing them away. However, God’s promises are boundlessly generous, surpassing our imaginations.

Deuteronomy 7:9 reminds us, “Know therefore that the Lord your God is God; he is the faithful God, keeping his covenant of love to a thousand generations of those who love him and keep his commandments.” This verse is a testament to God’s commitment not only to you but to your children, their children, and their children’s children! At Dream City Church, generational impact is at the core of our mission, and we are deeply committed to ensuring that the next generation experiences the love of Christ while standing firm for truth in a culture marked by darkness.

Your contributions to Kingdom Builders are an investment in the present and the future. You are sowing the seeds of faith, knowledge, and character that will flourish in the hearts of the next generation, fulfilling God’s promises for a thousand generations to come.

Currently, the construction of school campuses is in progress in Phoenix, Glendale, and Scottsdale. These buildings will feature spacious, well-equipped classrooms catering to students ranging from pre-K to college age.

Dream City Christian School

Ages Infant-12th Grade

The Dream City Christian School vision is to “Provide a Christ-centered community built on academic excellence.” We are focusing on excellence both in our academic offerings and in our commitment to teach our students sound, biblically based truths. It is our mission for graduates to go into the world academically prepared and strong enough, not only to defend their faith, but to bring light into the ever-increasing darkness. Every child is uniquely created by God. Our faculty and staff work to develop each child in their individual giftings. In addition to Christ centered classroom teaching, there are amazing weekly chapels that cover relevant topics specifically designed for each grade level. The current political and spiritual climate in the country is in turmoil. Combined with the effects of social media, there is an overwhelming amount of misinformation at children’s fingertips. A well-established biblical world view is a must for every student. At Dream City Christian we are committed to prepare this generation for the challenges they are currently facing.

Dream City College

Instead of choosing between attending a university or a ministry internship, students at Dream City College receive both. Our academic provider, Southeastern University, offers degree programs at a discounted rate at Dream City Church.

SEU’s Barnett College of Ministry & Theology is named after Pastor Tommy Barnett—Pastor of Dream City Church and Chancellor of Southeastern University.

SEU’s degree programs are designed to equip students with the tools they need to succeed in ministry or the workplace.

At Dream City College, students live out in the vision of Dream City Church, and get to be a part of various ministry avenues. Alongside chapels, small groups, special teachings, events, and outreach opportunities, students also focus on a “Practicum” as their practical, hands-on ministry emphasis at Dream City Church. Students are not just learning about ministry – they are doing it hands-on.

Dream City College students also attend Dream City Church’s weekly pastoral staff meeting, attend their own weekly College Chapel, and they also participate in College Small Groups and special events.

They serve in overall events at Dream City, are involved in outreach at the Phoenix Dream Center, and they receive exclusive leadership teaching from our very own lead pastors, Tommy and Luke Barnett.

Fine Arts

Each September, over 65,000 junior and senior high school students begin preparing their entries for the District and National Fine Arts Festivals. There are 80+ categories in 8 divisions including Art, Communication, Dance, Drama, Exhibition, Instrumental, Vocal, and Writing. Dream City Youth can get involved as early as January, when we host a Fine Arts audition for those who are interested in participating. Fundraisers, student expectations, and parent involvement will be discussed with each eligible student.

Young Adults:

DCYA is a community of 18-29 year olds. Our vision is simple. We exist to see young adults saved, healed, set free, discipled, equipped, empowered, and serving.

Every first and third Thursday of the month, we gather for a time of authentic community, powerful worship, and an engaging message.  Every month or so we break into small groups at the end for a time to reflect and hear what others are learning.  After service we create an intentional time for you to meet other young adults.  Sometimes we have donuts, Italian sodas, or even a cereal bar!

We have many different ways to connect with others young adults. Whether it’s at a lunch hang, volleyball in the park, or community night our desire is for young adults to connect in community.  All campuses are invited! If you’re at the PHX campus we have a young adult section during the 11am service and Wednesday service.

Our mission is to empower, encourage, and equip students to be effective ambassadors for Christ Jesus enabling them to push forward the kingdom of God.

Dream City Youth provides an environment where teens (grades 6-12) can grow in their relationship with Christ and feel at home. At DCYTH, we present real-life issues in creative ways to promote positive problem solving and are passionate about helping teens achieve their destiny in Jesus Christ.

The priority at DCYTH is to help teens become self-sufficient, committed, and lasting followers of Jesus through weekly services, small groups, discipleships, events, and activities. We encourage teens to invite their friends and come experience life change!
