The Power Of Welcoming Strangers

We can overcome division in our world, in our homes, our communities, our churches and more, if we practice the scriptural admonition to welcome strangers. A stranger is anyone who seems strange to you. Or to whom you may seem strange. This could be someone you do not know or who does not know you, whose background, worldview, or lifestyle may seem strange to you. Jesus did not just welcome His moral opposites. He also constantly included those who had been excluded before. He did this because it was right. But while doing what was right, He also leveraged His influence by dramatically expanding the number of people who could join Him in His cause.
